I had my wedding dress cleaned at another place after my ceremony on the beach (before my reception in stl) and told them I had a pin from my grandma that was on my dress. They didn't seem to care and just told me they would find it. So, when I went to pick up my dress from this 'other place' I asked about the pin and the guy said he didnt know what I was talking about. I was so angry and furious, I wanted to cry. That pin meant the world to me and they could care less.
In fairness the young man I spoke with about this situation is trying to locate my clothes and has offered to reimburse me for them, which is nice but doesn't help since I needed those clothes for a business trip. And it's not like I can go to Kohl's and buy pants and shirts off the rack - they're too short. Since I have to get my clothes in larger sizes from a boutique, the prices I pay are higher than the average-sized person. I highly doubt I'll be reimbursed adequately.
have never addressed the missing black pants and the workers in store take my info and I never hear back. I thought it might take some time, but really! The owners just do not care about follow up or good service. Both my son and I part with a good chunk of change on a weekly basis for their 'service'. I am now looking for another reputable service in the area. Please help.
They changed something about a month ago. My clothes now come back smelling TERRIBLE. I will not be back.
So, after my reception I decided to take my dress some place different (Star Crest) and have it done. I figured my pin had been lost or stolen by the other place so I didnt bother to even say anything to Star Crest. When I went in to pick up my dress they said there was a pin attached to my dress and handed it to me. I was in total shock. I even gave the lady working there a hug! She made my day! Will def be going to Star Crest for any cleaning! Highly recommended!!!!
Not mad. Just learned a lesson that's all.
They are the QT of dry cleaning. Fast & friendly. They just couldn't use the same crease that my pants had. I told them several times about this. They even tagged my pants with a "Crease" tag. My pants were returned with one leg perfectly creased and the other had a double crease. I'm a pretty forgiving person. But, after 5 times with the same issue I'm done. They did a great job on my shirts!

LOVE, LOVE this place! I drove up when they were closing and the lady who was working let me come in to pick up my wedding dress I had cleaned. I def appreciated that! The best part about this place is they are honest and do a wonderful job.
I will have to stop going to StarCrest Cleaners now that I have a good feel for how they do business. Number one, the greeting is terrible - no "hi, how are you", or "can I get your name"... It is "what is your phone number?". Apparently I'm a number, not a person. But that's just annoying and I've put up with it.
Number three - and this is the final straw. They lost my clothes! This place tracks everything via computer, they take credit cards, but yet they are less efficient than my previous dry cleaners who do neither. In the 10 years I was at American Cleaners - they've lost my clothes once, only to find it later that day and got it to me right away. I'm now on day 3 and still don't have my clothes from StarCrest.
I too, had good luck with Star Crest Cleaners UNTIL THEY LOST MY BLACK PANTS. I did not realize the pants were missing until they gave me blue pants back. The blue pants were to have been out for 2 weeks for tailoring. PS they were returned for the tailoring. I was charged to clean the pants twice and for the tailoring. They
